Meet Sharon Faye McQueen
Leading people has never been just a position for Sharon - it has been a calling.
For nearly three decades, Sharon Faye McQueen has served, led, developed leaders, strengthened teams, and helped people recognize the gifts and potential within them.
As an author, speaker, pastor, leadership consultant, and Maxwell Leadership Certified DISC Trainer, Sharon brings together practical leadership experience, organizational insight, and a genuine passion for helping people grow.
Sharon is the founder of LegacyForward Leadership, a leadership development and consulting company created to help leaders grow, strengthen teams, and prepare organizations for what’s next.
Her work is centered around a simple belief: when leaders better understand themselves and the people they lead, they can lead with greater confidence, build healthier teams, and create something that lasts.
Nearly Three Decades of Leadership
For more than 25 years, Sharon has served in full-time pastoral ministry alongside her husband, leading people, developing teams, mentoring leaders, navigating organizational growth, and helping others fulfill their God-given assignments.
Those years gave her something that cannot be gained from a certification alone: real-world experience leading people through change, challenges, growth, conflict, transition, and responsibility.
Over time, Sharon discovered that one of the parts of leadership she loved most was helping other leaders understand how they are wired, how they affect the people around them, and how to build teams that do not depend on one person to succeed.
Sharon is also a proud U.S. Navy veteran, and her military service helped shape the discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service that continue to influence her leadership today.
From Leading People to Developing Leaders
Sharon's heart for people and passion for leadership development naturally led to coaching, consulting, and training leaders and teams in organizations beyond the church.
Legacyforward Leadership was created to help leaders and organizations understand how they work, communicate more effectively, strengthen leadership capacity, and build teams that can carry the mission forward.
